New FJORD 39 introduced as XL and XP

Whether with inboard or V10 outboard engines – the FJORD 39, the new entry model of the iconic brand, was officially launched today: even more sophisticated, with more power and more space.

With its unique combination of performance, seaworthiness, comfort and iconic design from the collaboration between the designers at HanseYachts and the renowned yacht designer Patrick Benfield, the new FJORD 39 is once again a real highlight on the water. The customer has the choice between two fundamentally different drive concepts to fulfil every need: Two 400 hp V10 Mercury Verado outboard engines or two Volvo Penta inboards with up to 440 hp provide more than sufficient thrust, agility and impressive performance in all conditions at all times.

Every aspect of the FJORD 39’s design epitomises power, stability, safety and durability. From the reinforced hull construction to the robust materials used throughout, the yacht is built to withstand a wide range of conditions.

The impressively generous dimensions on deck with the large and open cockpit of the FJORD 39 offer unrivalled space for a comfortable lounge and maximum freedom of movement. When the two generous tables in the seating area for up to eight people are lowered, a second large sunbathing area is created. Like all FJORD yachts, the new model offers the perfect setting for a cosy sundowner or a glamorous cocktail party under the sun.

Modern navigation equipment and joystick steering make manoeuvring easy and intuitive. Even at full speed, the characteristic T-top, which is also the largest in this class and provides plenty of shade, and various windscreen options protect against the elements.

Below deck, too, the designers have maximised the available space and ensured that every square centimetre serves a purpose. The interior has been significantly upgraded compared to the FJORD 38 and sets new standards in this boat class..

Andrea Zambonini, FJORD Product Manager: «The FJORD 39 is the logical new development of our entry-level model in the unique FJORD class. It offers everything that characterises the core of these iconic yachts. Power, design and comfort – fully thought through and high quality.»

Highlights: Design and comfort of the new FJORD 39

Hull: The elaborately newly developed and hydrodynamically optimised high-performance sandwich hull with its robust inner frame ensures great stability for the fast power yacht. The typical FJORD hull lines make the appearance of the FJORD 39 unmistakable on the water.

Deck: The helm station with up to three pilot seats is equipped with state-of-the-art control systems and displays. The FJORD 39 offers the option of two galley blocks with sink, large work surface and a choice of gas grill or gas cooker. On request, up to three refrigerators are available on the main deck. The seating area with two foldable and electrically lowerable tables can accommodate up to eight people. The large, electrically opening sun lounge on the aft deck offers plenty of space to relax. Below this is a large storage space, which in the FJORD 39 XP even extends deep into the hull, where in the XL the engines are located due to the drive concept.

The entire cockpit is shaded by the largest T-top in this class. The robust roof pillars are integrated into the side wall for maximum stability and freedom of movement. On the walkaround deck, typical for FJORD, the second large sun lounge on the foredeck can be reached without steps. Due to the design of the FJORD 39 XP, the large bathing platform at the stern is centred on the areas to the side of the outboard engines. A multifunctional ladder is integrated in both the inboard and outboard versions. It can be used either as a gangway or as convenient access to the water. It can be extended and adjusted automatically.

Interior: The exclusive interior concept of the FJORD 39 makes optimum use of every inch of space below deck. The spacious cabin is equipped with a wide double berth. The drawers underneath and easy-to-use built-in cupboards on the port side offer plenty of storage space, which can be optionally extended by a wardrobe on the starboard side. The standard refrigerator on the port side provides additional options for catering for guests. The fully equipped head with separate shower is on starboard.

There is a choice of four different design styles for the interior, each with a balanced mix of colours and materials.
