BOOT & FUN presents Best of Boats Award
The international Jury selects the 21 finalists in the five categories of the BOB Awards 2020 – Award ceremony on 19 November 2020
Berlin, 26 October 2020 – Boats from more nations than ever before have made it to the finals of the Best of Boats Awards this year. After several hundred boat tests, the 21 finalists in the five categories have now been announced. The expert jury from 15 nations has selected the international motorboat novelties all over Europe under the special conditions of this year.
Following the slogan «Scope on internationality, test locally» the jurors used individual tests as well as events such as BOOT & FUN Inwater in Werder (Germany) for their evaluations. The tests were conducted by editors-in-chief and boat journalists from all regions of Europe as well as Russia and the USA, making the Best of Boats Award one of the major international awards in the boating industry.
For the first time, the winners of the Best of Boats Award will also be presented in a live streamed broadcast event. The award ceremony with the BOB jury, shipyard CEOs and representatives of the international boat industry will take place on Thursday, 19 November 2020 and is open online for all interested boat lovers.
BOOT & FUN BERLIN, premium partner of the Best of Boat Awards since 2014, will again be the host and presenter of the festive award ceremony for the best motorboats in the five categories Best for Beginners, Best for Family, Best for Fun, Best for Fishing and Best for Travel. For the second time, in the new category Best for Future, a «Game Changer» from the boat industry will be awarded.
